My first contact with the Ben Frost work, was in live performance at Theater aan het Spui (Deen Haag) on this year. The room was in plenty silence when the man with the shaved head started his solo live performance, using a guitar, controllers and a laptop.

Frost was born in Australia, but nowaday recide on Reykjavík, Iceland, where he work as band producer too. He edited his works on labels like Room 40 and Bedroom Community, and he make a remix for Bjork too. His music is characterized by the guitar explorations, tagged in categories like ambient noise and post rock too. Maybe listening Ben Frost releases you can feel a polarity between relax climate and dark catharsis.
